1961 Topps #180 Bobby Richardson New York Yankees high-end NM-MT B61#180A1 This is a high-end 1961 Bobby Richardson card with excellent corners, straight edges and nicely centered. Nicely centered Excellent corners Immaculate back Vintage ‘61 Richardson was a very identifiable Yankee among giant personalities in the New York lineup. His uncanny success in World Series play won him an MVP in the ‘60 series, memorable for Mazeroski’s walk-off home run, but even so, it did not totally succeed in overshadowing Richardson’s performance in the series. Richardson only played 12 years, retiring at 30 years of age to spend time with his family.
